After eight years of the closest possible relations, the United States and Israel may be headed for a period of increased strain, particularly as it appears likely that whatever Israeli government emerges from last week's election will be more hawkish than its predecessor. There is sufficient evidence to charge hawkish politician Avigdor Lieberman with money laundering. The police source said there was no doubt about money laundering.

Israëli’s hebben hun zegje gedaan in de peilingen en nu is het aan de wereld, en met name de Obama regering, om te reageren.
Drieëndertig partijen gingen voor de Knesset, slechts twaalf partijen slaagden erin genoeg stemmen te verzamelen om zetels te verzekeren.
